Who Kempt Are:

Kempt are one of the UK’s leading specialists in creating playful, engaging advertising creative – largely in the form of games. We strategize, develop, design and promote - all in house. Using viral, mobile and social media we create engagement with a global audience of millions and have been responsible for some of the most successful campaigns ever produced in our space.

The Kempt story begins in early 2003 with a hasty resignation and a laptop on “Buy now, pay next year” but from these humble beginnings (with a little luck and a huge amount of hard work) we’ve grown into a force to be reckoned with in digital and we’re now privileged to work for some of the world’s biggest brands on some of the world’s coolest projects!

What Kempt Do:

In the digital industry it’s very difficult to describe what you do without sounding like a buzzword-dropping bandwagon jumper. Many people would use terms like: “gamification, social currency, branded content, apps, widgets, viral, seeding, engagement, experiential and activation” to describe the kinds of things we do but we prefer to say that we conceive, create and promote playful, engaging digital content and that we use viral, mobile and social media to do it.

Above all though, we pride ourselves on producing work that delivers real results for our clients.

Work With Kempt Because:

We could blind you with hyperbole but that’s really not our style so we thought we’d give you ten reasons instead:

  1. We are responsible for creating and promoting the most successful Advergame of all time: King of Defenders - 86m visits at the time of writing.
  2. We don’t just say we’re different, we really are! Although I guess we would say that… bananas.
  3. We understand the importance of balancing creative and strategic thinking which enables us to create compelling and sharable content which will meet or exceed your objectives.
  4. We REALLY like biscuits but are happy to share them.
  5. We do stuff in Facebook that works! Check out the Nation’s Noggin which enjoys a substantial audience of which over 90% are in the target demographic.
  6. You’ll be most welcome to visit our in-house console museum.
  7. We know that simplicity is often the key to success. For example Freeway Fallguy went from brief to launch in 10 working days, received 7.5m visits in 3 months and drove 75% of views on the YouTube video.
  8. We’re the kind of geeks that you might not mind having a beer with.
  9. We wrote and run MemeCounter - the industry standard for Flash game tracking.
  10. We always over-deliver, even on lists!
  11. We have the industry’s largest seeding list of over 1000 sites, blogs and portals.
  12. We know when a joke is being over-played…
  13. We run two significant games portals KillerViral.com and TinyMania.com.
  14. ...but we also know that odd indulgency is good for the soul!
  15. Finally, they say that no-one ever got fired for buying IBM, well, as far as we know, no-one ever got fired for buying Kempt either, a few people have been promoted though!
